Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect lateral control rod from axle housing and body. Remove lateral control rod. See Figure.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Temporarily install lateral control rod bolts, leaving them loose. Lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle several times to settle suspension. Tighten all retaining bolts to specification, with vehicle weight on suspension. Refer to the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
