Center Differential Control Pressure Test (A-241H)

  1. Perform test at normal operating fluid temperature of 122-176°F (50-80°C). Measure line pressure. Remove transaxle test plug and connect pressure gauge. See Fig 1.
  2. Fully apply parking brake. Start engine. Shift into "D" range. Measure center differential pressure at specified speeds. See CENTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  3. Incorrect center differential pressure may be caused by incorrect line pressure, leakage at center differential control pressure regulator valve or faulty center differential control valve.
