Disassembly (Transfer Case Driven Pinion Bearing Cage)

- Using chisel and hammer, unstake lock nut. Using Lock Nut Wrench (09326-20011), remove lock nut. Use soft jaws for holding driven pinion in vise.
- Remove driven pinion, rear side bearing and spacer with arbor press. Using Bearing Remover (09950-00020), remove front side housing. Using brass bar and hammer, remove bearing outer races. See Fig 1.
- On A-241H, use low air pressure to remove oil plug and oil strainer. Remove "O" ring from oil plug.
