Removal & Installation

  1. Remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect vacuum hose from power brake unit. Disconnect push rod at brake pedal.
  2. Remove power brake unit. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at the end of this article. Check and adjust push rod. See POWER BRAKE UNIT PUSH ROD under ADJUSTMENTS.
