Hazard Warning Switch: (MR2)

  1. Hazard warning switch is mounted to back of center cluster finish panel. Remove rear console box. See Figure. Using flat-blade screwdriver, pry up console shifter upper panel and pull panel slightly rearward to remove.
  2. Remove 6 retaining screws and remove console box. Remove ashtray to remove 2 panel retaining screws. Pry center cluster finish panel loose from its 6 retaining clips. Disconnect switch connector. Remove 2 screws retaining switch to rear of panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
