Reassembly & Installation
- To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. After reassembly, check oil pump operation. Immerse inlet tube in clean engine oil and rotate drive shaft counterclockwise. Oil should flow from discharge hole. Cover discharge hole using thumb and rotate drive shaft counterclockwise. Drive shaft should be difficult to rotate.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See appropriate TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
