Description & Operation: Gauges

In addition to standard fuel and temperature gauge, some instrument panels are equipped with a tachometer, oil pressure gauge and voltmeter. Gauges may be either 2-terminal bimetallic type, or 3-terminal coil type. The 2-terminal type gauges are generally used on models without tachometers.
