Wheel Bearings: Installation

  1. Install inner and outer bearing races in drum/hub. Pack bearings and center of hub with grease. Install inner bearing in drum/hub.
  2. Using Seal Installer (SST 09608-20012) and Adapter (09608-03020), install oil seal in drum/hub. Coat oil seal lip with grease. Install drum/hub and outer bearing. Adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING ADJUST in this article.
