Upper Suspension Arm: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install but do not tighten upper suspension arm to frame bolts, axle hub assembly to upper suspension arm, No. 2 lower suspension arm bolts, and strut rod bolts.
  2. Install wheels and lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension. Tighten upper suspension arm to frame bolts, axle hub assembly to upper suspension arm, No. 2 lower suspension arm bolts, and strut rod bolts to specification.
  3. Ensure all nuts and bolts are tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check rear wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT section.
