Lower Suspension Arm & Strut Rod: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install but do not tighten No. 2 lower suspension arm-to-axle carrier bolts, No. 1 and No. 2 adjusting cams, and strut rod to axle carrier bolts.
  2. Install wheels and lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension. Tighten No. 2 lower suspension arm-to-axle carrier bolts, No. 1 and No. 2 adjusting cams, and strut rod to axle carrier bolts to specification.
  3. Ensure all nuts and bolts are tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check rear wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT section.
