Oil Pan: Removal
- Remove hood and lower engine cover. Drain engine oil. On models with automatic transmission, disconnect transmission oil cooler lines. On all models, remove front crossmember. Remove front exhaust pipe bracket and stiffener plates.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Remove brake hose brackets and clips. Loosen intermediate steering shaft pinch bolt. Disconnect intermediate steering shaft. Disconnect stabilizer bar links from lower control arms.
- Attach engine lifting chain to engine hangers. Support engine and remove engine mounting nuts and washers. Remove electronic suspension actuators from strut assemblies.
- Remove top strut mounting bolts. Support front suspension member with floor jack. Remove bolts/ nuts securing assembly to body. Lower suspension member and support on jack stands. Remove oil pan.
