Cylinder Head: Inspection

Check cylinder head for cracks, flaws or damage. Inspect cylinder head and block mating surfaces for warpage. Cylinder head warpage limit is .004" (.10 mm). If beyond limit, replace cylinder head. Maximum warpage for cylinder block is .002" (.05 mm). If warpage exceeds maximum, replace cylinder block.
