Thrust Bearing

Check crankshaft end play. See CRANKSHAFT, MAIN & CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS SPECIFICATIONS table. If end play exceeds maximum limit, replace thrust washers as a set and/or replace crankshaft. Thrust washers are installed on No. 4 main bearing journal

NOTE: Thrust washers are available in standard thickness of .1152-.1171" (2.926-2.974 mm) and oversize of .1176-.1196" (2.988-3.038 mm).
