Fuel Pressure Release

WARNING: Before working on Supra, wait a minimum of 20 seconds after disconnecting negative battery cable. Supra is equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) air bag which has a back-up power source that may deploy air bag.

With ignition off, disconnect negative battery cable. Place suitable container under fuel line. Cover fuel line connection with shop towel. Slowly loosen fuel line connection, allowing fuel pressure to be released.
