Oil Pressure Warning Light Test
- Unplug connector from pressure switch and ground connector on wire side of harness. Turn ignition on and check that warning light illuminates.
- If warning light does not illuminate, check for improper wiring or defective bulb. If warning light illuminates, proceed to next step.
- Unplug connector from switch. Check that there is continuity between terminal and ground with engine off. Start engine. With engine running, continuity should not exist. If readings are not as described, replace pressure switch.
