Turbo Gauge Wiring Harness Operational Test (Celica Turbo & Supra Turbo)

  1. Disconnect harness from turbo pressure sensor located on right rear of firewall. Turn ignition on. Gauge needle should move to top of gauge. Jump center wire (terminal No. 2) of harness to ground.
  2. Gauge needle should move to bottom of gauge. If needle moves to bottom of gauge, test pressure sensor. If needle does not move to bottom of gauge, test turbo gauge.
