Oil Pressure Sending Unit Operational Test

Unplug connector from sending unit. Connect 12-volt source, in series with 3.4-watt bulb, to sending unit. Bulb should not light with engine off. With engine running, bulb should flash. Flashes will vary with engine speed. Replace sending unit if light does not function as described.
