Propeller Shaft: Removal(Front)

Put matchmarks on the flanges. Remove the four bolts and nuts. Disconnect propeller shaft flange from companion flange on front differential. See Fig 1.

If equipped, remove front propeller shaft No. 2 dust cover. See Fig 2.

If equipped, remove the three bolts and cover. Remove front propeller shaft dust cover subassembly. See Fig 3.

Suspend the front side of the propeller shaft. Put matchmarks on the flanges. Remove the four nuts. Remove front propeller shaft. See Fig 4.
