Installation (Front)

  1. Connect front propeller shaft flange to companion flange on transfer case by aligning the matchmarks on the flanges. Connect the flanges with four nuts. See Fig 1. Torque bolts and nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. If equipped, install front propeller shaft dust cover assembly. Install and torque the three bolts. See Figure. Torque bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect propeller shaft flange to companion flange on front differential by aligning the matchmarks on the flanges. Connect the flanges with four nuts and bolts. See Figure. Torque bolts and nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. If equipped, install front propeller shaft No. 2 dust cover. See Figure. Install and torque the bolts and nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
