Front Pads: Installation
Slide new pads and anti-rattle shims into caliper. Install retaining pins and anti-rattle spring. Install clip into retaining pin holes. Check level of fluid in reservoir and tighten cap.
Push piston into caliper bore using C-clamp or wooden hammer handle. On Pickup/4Runner models, put new anti-squeal shim on back edge of outside pad. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation. Check level of fluid in reservoir and tighten cap.
