Master Cylinder: Disassembly

  1. Remove reservoir, hose and switch. Mount cylinder in soft-jawed vise. Push pistons into cylinder bore and remove stop bolt. Remove snap ring and withdraw piston assemblies. Disassemble piston assemblies by removing springs, retainers and cups. See Figure.
