Removal & Installation - On Vehicle

  1. Remove transfer case protector. Drain gear oil from transfer. Remove front propeller shaft.
  2. Remove oil seal using SST (09308-10010), remove the front output shaft oil seal.
  3. Install oil seal using SST (09325-20010), drive in a new oil seal. Oil seal depth should be 0.374-0.413 in. (9.5-10.5 mm). Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.
  4. Install front propeller shaft. Fill transfer case with oil. Install transfer case protector.
