Corolla (RWD), Cressida, Land Cruiser, Pickup & Tercel Wagon

1. Loosen swivel nut on connecting rod. See Fig 1. Push manual shift lever fully toward rear of vehicle on all except Land Cruiser models. On Land Cruiser models, push manual lever fully toward front of vehicle.
2. On all models, return lever 2 notches to Neutral

position. Ensure shift lever is in "N". While holding lever lightly

toward "R" range side, tighten swivel nut.
