Removal (Fixed Main Pin Caliper)
- Siphon small amount of brake fluid from reservoir. Raise vehicle and support securely. Remove wheels. Remove guide bolt. Do not remove caliper from main pin. Leave parking brake cable connected.
- Leaving brake hose connected, pivot caliper up on main pin. Suspend caliper at highest point. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shims, anti-rattle springs, pad support plate and pad guide plate. See Figure.
