Removal (Mounting Bolts Sliding Caliper)
- Siphon small amount of brake fluid from reservoir. Raise vehicle and support securely. Remove wheels. Hold rotor in place with lug nuts. Remove 2 guide bolts. See Figure.
- Leave hose connected and hang caliper from suspension so that no tension is placed on hose. Remove anti-squeal springs (if equipped), brake pads, anti-squeal shims, pad wear indicator plates and pad support plates.
