Corolla, Cressida, Supra & Van

  1. Ensure rear wiper switch is in "OFF" position. Disconnect wiring connector from wiper motor. Connect negative lead from battery to wiper motor body.
  2. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal No. 3. Motor should operate.
  3. Check automatic park operation by connecting positive lead from battery to terminal No. 3. Connect negative lead to motor body. Motor should operate. Stop motor operation anywhere except "stop" position by disconnecting terminal No. 3.
  4. Install a jumper wire between terminals No. 3 and 4. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal No. 2. Ensure motor stops running at "stop" position.
