Drum Brake Adjustments

All models have self-adjusting rear drum brakes. Only adjustment possible is clearance adjustment. To adjust, measure clearance between linings and braking surface of drum. Clearance should be .024" (.60 mm). This check and adjustment is usually required only during repair or replacement of component parts.
