Brake Pedal Reserve Distance Adjustments
- Pedal reserve distance is measured from face of pedal pad to asphalt sheet under carpet with brakes applied. Measure reserve distance with engine running and weight of 110 lbs. (50 kg) applied against pedal.
- See BRAKE PEDAL RESERVE DISTANCE table for minimum reserve distance allowed in each model. If measured reserve distance is less than minimum distance specified in table, check braking system for problem.
