Fuel Gauge Operation: Camry

Unplug the connector from the fuel sending unit. With ignition on, all segments of the bar gauge on the panel should flash and should go out after 120 seconds and fuel level warning light should light up.
Connect a jumper wire between terminals No. 2 and 3 of harness connector. All segments of bar gauge should light up. If operation is not as described, check computer or wire harness. If okay, and fuel gauge still does not work, replace fuel gauge. See Fig 1.
