Fuel Tank Sending Unit: Supra

  1. Unplug connector from fuel tank sending unit. With ignition on, check for 4-6 volts at terminal FV. See Fig 1.
    CAUTION: Do not short "FV" terminal to ground.

  2. Check the output signal voltage at terminal FR of connector. Check at different points of travel. See SUPRA FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT OUTPUT VOLTAGES  table.

  3. Turn ignition off. Remove fuel sending unit from tank. Check resistance at different points of travel. See SUPRA FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT RESISTANCES  table.
