Temperature Gauge: Cressida

  1. Turn ignition on. Unplug the coolant temperature sending unit. Sending unit is on left side of engine with a Blue wire.
  2. Connect sending unit connector to ground. Uppermost segment of temperature gauge should light.
  3. Remove ground connection. With harness connector unplugged, lowest segment should light. If gauge does not respond as described, check harness for continuity. If harness is okay, replace fuel gauge.
