Valve Springs: Removal

  1. With cylinder head removed, remove camshafts and lifters with shims. Keep lifters and shims in order for reassembly.
  2. Using Valve Spring Compressor tool (09202-70010), compress springs and remove valve keepers. Remove compressor tool. Remove spring retainer, spring, seal and spring seat.
