Intake Manifold: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery. Remove air cleaner assembly. Remove accelerator link and speedometer cable clamp. Identify and disconnect vacuum hoses. Remove PCV hose.
  2. Remove EGR valve with pipes. Remove cold start injector pipe. Remove pulsation damper and pressure regulator. Remove delivery pipe and injectors. Remove manifold brace.
  3. Remove 2 nuts and 7 bolts mounting manifold to head. Remove intake manifold assembly.
