Valve Springs: Removal

  1. With cylinder head, camshaft housing and camshaft removed, remove rocker arms and valve lash adjusters. Keep components in order for installation reference.
  2. Using Spring Compressor (09202-43013), compress valve spring and remove keepers. Remove spring compressor. Remove spring retainer, spring, valve, oil seal, and valve spring seat. Keep components in order.
