Removal & Installation (Camry & Celica)
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove right front wheel and tire. Remove right inner fender panel. Loosen and remove alternator drive belt. Remove cruise control actuator with bracket (if equipped).
- Remove power steering pump and belt. DO NOT drain cooling system. On all models, use jack to raise engine enough to remove weight from right engine mount. Remove right engine mount insulator and bracket. Remove No. 2 (upper) timing belt cover and gasket.
- Secure crankshaft and remove crankshaft pulley mount bolt. Use Pulley Remover (09213-31021) to remove pulley. Remove No. 1 (lower) timing belt cover. To install cover, reverse removal procedure.
