Inspection (Celica GTS)

Clean cylinder head and check for cracks. Using straightedge and feeler gauge, check cylinder head and block for warpage. Maximum warpage on block and intake manifold side of head is .008" (.20 mm). On exhaust manifold side of head, maximum warpage is .012" (.30 mm). If warpage is greater than specification, cylinder head must be replaced.
