Installation (Camry & Celica)

  1. Insert camshaft into camshaft housing. Place new "O" ring into oil seal retainer. Apply Three Bond 1324 sealant bolt threads and install oil seal retainer. Install rocker arms and valve lash adjusters.
  2. Align camshaft knock pin with camshaft timing sprocket. Use Camshaft Sprocket Holder (09278-54011) to install and tighten mount bolt. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
