Parking Brake Adjustment: MR2

  1. Pull parking brake lever up and down several times. Leave lever in released position. Pump brake pedal several times. Remove fuel tank protector. Loosen adjusting nuts at equalizer until there is slack in cable.
  2. Make sure that cable bellcrank on caliper is touching stop pin. Tighten adjusting nut until cable is taut but not so much that bellcrank is pulled off stop pin. Tighten adjusting nuts with equalizer in horizontal position. Install fuel tank protector.
