Removal (Slide Pin Sliding Caliper)

  1. Siphon small amount of brake fluid from reservoir. Raise vehicle and support securely. Remove wheels. Remove lower caliper slide pin. DO NOT remove upper slide pin unless absolutely necessary.
  2. Leaving brake hose connected, pivot caliper up on slide pin. Tie caliper to suspension to keep it out of way. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shim and support plates.
