Removal (Fixed Main Pin Sliding Caliper)

Siphon small amount of brake fluid from reservoir. Raise vehicle and support securely. Remove wheels. Remove lower mounting bolt. Pivot caliper up on upper mounting bolt. Insert bolt into hole at top of torque plate to keep caliper from falling down. Remove pads and anti-squeal shim. Remove anti-rattle springs, pad guide plates and pad support plate.
