Installation (Pickup W/Single Wheels & 4Runner)

  1. Press new bearing into backing plate. Drive new oil seal into bearing case. Insert backing plate and bearing retainer on axle shaft.
  2. Ensure unbeveled edge of retainer faces bearing. Press rear axle shaft into backing plate. Install snap ring. Install rear axle shaft in housing. Fill differential with gear oil.
