Rocker Arm Assembly
- If rocker arms appear loose, disassemble rocker arm assembly and measure rocker arm-to-shaft clearance. Clearance should be .0004-.0020" (.01-.05 mm), with a maximum limit of .0031" (.08 mm).
- If clearance exceeds maximum limit, replace rocker arms and/or shafts. Reassemble in reverse of disassembly, noting that all rocker arms are identical, but that all rocker stands are different. See Fig 1.
