Bimetal Vacuum Switching Valve (BVSV)
- With engine coolant below specified level, blow air into front pipe on valve. Valve should be closed and no air should come out rear pipe.
- Warm engine to operating temperature. Again blow air into front pipe. Valve should now be open and air should come out rear pipe. Replace valve if necessary.
