Steering Wheel: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground. From lower portion of steering column, disconnect any electrical wiring for indicator lights, horn or dimmer switch.
- Remove retaining screws from behind steering wheel (if required). On some models, pad will pry off. Remove horn wires (if required).
- Remove steering wheel mounting nut and washer (if equipped), then using a puller, remove steering wheel from shaft. See Fig 1 .
