Trim - Shoulder - Seat - 2nd Row - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open all the doors and open all the windows.
- Move the driver and front passenger seats fully forward.
- Open the liftgate.
- Remove the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace)
- Remove the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row center seat belt lower anchor to the vehicle, and then release the lower anchor from the vehicle.
25 N.m (18.4 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket
- Fold the LH 2nd row seat to the down position.NOTE: If the seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required.
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the LH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the LH 2nd row backrest guide locks. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove And Replace) .
- Disconnect the LH 2nd row backrest harness, and then release the clip that attaches the harness to the backrest
- Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH 2nd row back side cover to the seat assembly, and then remove the cover from the assembly.
- Fold the LH 2nd row seat to the vertical position.
- Release the 2nd row armrest.NOTE: The release button is located behind the 2nd row center headrest.
- Remove the center armrest trim.NOTE: Pull the trim up and out of 2nd row backrest frame (x1 push clip, x2 clips, x4 hooks)
- Remove the 2nd row center seatbelt escutcheon. See Escutcheon - Seatbelt - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH 2nd row backrest cushion to the backrest frame, and then remove the cushion assembly from the vehicle
- Release the push-pull rivets (x3) and clips (x5) that attach the LH 2nd row seat shoulder plastic trim to the seat assembly, disconnect the electrical connector, and then maneuver the seat belt through the trim to remove it from the seat assembly.NOTE: There are 2 clips located at front of the trim and 3 clips located at the rear of the trim. There are 2 rivets located at the front of the trim and 1 rivet located at the outboard side.
