Insulator - Wheelhouse - Rear - RH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the RH rear wheelhouse insulator.
    NOTE: Carefully maneuver the insulator into the vehicle.

  2. Fasten the clips (x12) and bolt that attach the RH body harness to the body.

    9 N.m (6.6 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm socket

  3. Install the external audio amplifier. See Amplifier - Audio - External (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Install the subwoofer. See Subwoofer (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Connect the RH taillight electrical connector.
    NOTE: Secure the red locking tab.

  6. Install the RH C-pillar support bracket. See Bracket - Support - C-Pillar - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  7. Connect the electrical connector, and then install the nut that attaches RH rear seatbelt retractor to the body.
    NOTE: 15 mm. Torque 40 N.m.

  8. Install the RH 2nd row seat back striker. See Striker - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  9. Install the RH rear door latch through the wheelhouse insulator, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the latch to the body.

    10 N.m (7.4 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T30 socket

  10. Fasten the clips (x3) that attach the RH C-pillar mid and lower body bracket to the body.

  11. Fasten the clips (x3) that attach the RH lower C-pillar support bracket to the body.

  12. Install the RH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - RH (Remove And Replace) .
  13. Fasten the clips (x7) that attach the RH upper C-pillar trim to the body.

  14. Install the RH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  15. Install the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  16. Connect the 2nd row seat back electrical connector (40 portion).

  17. Raise the RH 2nd row seat back (40 portion) into the upright and locked position.

  18. Reconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  19. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  20. Install the rear wall rear trunk trim. See Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove And Replace) .
  21. Install the trunk floor front trim. See Trim - Front - Floor - Trunk (Remove And Replace) .
  22. Install the RH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - RH (Remove And Replace) .
  23. Install the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove And Replace) .
  24. Install the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove And Replace) .
  25. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace) .
  26. Install the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  27. Restore the driver and front passenger seats back to their original position.
  28. Raise all windows and close all doors.
