Assembly - Trailer Hitch Remove and Replace: Remove
- Remove the rear fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Rear - Remove And Install .
- Disconnect the LH body harness connector from the trailer hitch assembly jumper harness.
- Pocket screwdriver
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Pocket screwdriver
- Disconnect the LH body harness connector from the trailer hitch assembly ECU.
- Pocket screwdriver
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Pocket screwdriver
- Release the clip that attaches the LH body harness to the trailer hitch assembly.
- Clip pry tool
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Pocket screwdriver
- Remove the nuts (x4) that attach the trailer hitch assembly to the body studs, and then remove the hitch assembly from the vehicle.
- 15 mm deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 3 in extension
