Scuff Plate - Rocker Panel - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Carefully peel the LH body side secondary seal from the front of the LH rocker panel scuff plate, along its length, to the rear.

  2. Release the clip that attaches the LH body side secondary seal to the rear of the LH rocker panel scuff plate.
    NOTE: Do not completely remove the seal from the body.

  3. Release the upper tabs (x7), and then the bottom clips (x7) that attach the LH rocker panel scuff plate to the LH rocker panel.

  4. Slide the LH rocker panel scuff plate rearward, out from between the LH rear door and body, and then remove the scuff plate from the vehicle.
