Hinge - Hood - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

Open the hood.
With assistance, remove the nuts (x2) that attach the LH hood strut common bracket to the hood, and then set the hood strut aside. Repeat this step for the RH side of the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

With assistance, remove the nuts (x4) that attach the LH and RH hood hinges to the hood assembly, remove the hood from the vehicle, and place it on a padded surface.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Remove the bolts that attach the LH hood hinge to the vehicle, and then remove the hinge from the vehicle.
28 N.m (20.6 ft-lbs)

- 13 mm deep socket
