Weldment - Pivot - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open all the doors and open all the windows.
  2. Move the driver and front passenger seats fully forward.
  3. Remove the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  4. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove And Replace) .
  5. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  6. Remove the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove And Replace) 
  7. Remove the 2nd row center pivot cover.

  8. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat inboard pivot weldment to the body, and then remove the pivot weldment from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Lift the front of the rear trunk floor to access the top bolt and datum.

    26 N.m (19.2 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 11 mm deep socket
